FREQUENT QUESTIONS 

Q: Which style of outdoor kitchen do you offer? 

A: We have four different styles in our range: 

C1 – our most popular look. All the features of a luxury, contemporary German indoor  kitchen, but like all CUBIC furniture it will be waterproof and configured for outdoors. C1 PURE – is a further variety of C1 offering LED-lit cabinets and mitred doors & drawers with a shadow gap plinth. 

C2 – a more minimalist style with integrated doors & drawers and without a plinth. C3 – just like C1 but can be partially or fully clad in our range of ceramic finishes. C4 – our more traditional look, with or without door handles. 

Q: What are the unique features? 

A: All Cubic furniture is made from the highest quality materials. 

Made entirely to the client’s individual specification 

The use of long-lasting and hygienic materials throughout 

It is weatherproof 

It is waterproof* 

Any colour 

Any shape – freestanding, against a wall, corner or u-shape – or an island. With or without a breakfast bar 

Modular, but can be made to bespoke sizes 

Vermin-free, weatherproof ventilated storage for utensils and crockery 

Built-in remotely-controlled LED lighting options 

Each kitchen will be supplied fully assembled** 

Q: What appliances can I have? 

A: There is a wide range of quality built-in gas or charcoal grills to choose from - Flammkraft,  Fogher, Bull, Beefeater, Napoleon, Fire Magic and Wolf, for example. 

Also: 

Kamado (Green Egg, etc) 

Side burners 

Sink & tap with optional hot water heater 

Integrated fridge with freezer compartment 

Cooling drawer 

Wine drawer 

CASO wine/beer coolers 

Teppanyaki plate/plancha

Q: Are there any other options? 

A: Please ask if your favourite outdoor appliances such as a Blastcool fridge, a Traeger pellet  stove, a tandoor, an icemaking machine, a Quooker tap or a charcoal grill can be integrated.  Usually, the answer is ‘Yes’! 

Q: What material is used to make the cabinet modules? 

A: The unique Cubic material is an engineered wood which is completely water-resistant. It is  used for the doors, drawers & shelves - and most of the carcass. 

Q: What is the choice of colours for the cabinets? 

A: There are eight standard colours in our special paint, or any RAL/NCS colour can be specified  at extra cost. Two paint finishes to choose from – sanding pattern or powder coat. 

Q: Is there a choice of worktop finishes? 

A: Yes, there are six standard hygienic ceramic finishes and other finishes and options including  stone are possible.  

Q: Can I choose the thickness of the worktop? 

A: There are three standard thicknesses – 16mm, 35mm and 50mm. But as we are CUBIC,  everything is possible! 

Q: Can I get waterfall ends? 

A: Yes. 

Q: What is lamella? 

A: Lamella is our unique hardwood slatted feature which can be applied to our doors, drawers  or the rear of an island, for example. There is a choice of four sustainably-sourced hardwoods. 

Q: Does CUBIC use stainless steel for door hinges, etc? 

A: Yes, of course. 

Q: What is the lead time for manufacture & delivery? 

A: Each kitchen will be individually made to the client’s specification. Lead time is typically 8-10  working weeks, plus shipping in start-of-the-art export crates.
