Easy Returns

At The Cotswold Cooking Company, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. That’s why we offer a 30-Day Return Policy for standard products.

How to Request a Return

If you wish to return an item for any reason within 30 days of receiving your order, please email us at info@cotswoldcookingcompany.co.uk with your order number. We will provide return authorisation and detailed instructions.

Please note:

  • You are responsible for the return shipping cost.

  • All items must be returned in ‘Like New’ condition with original packaging and accessories.

  • "Like New" means unused, uninstalled, and free of wear or damage.

  • Products returned showing signs of use or wear will not be accepted and no refund will be issued.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will notify you by email and process your refund to the original payment method.

Custom, Made-to-Order & Installed Products

Products that are customised or made to your specifications (e.g. bespoke outdoor kitchens, modular configurations, pergolas) are non-refundable once ordered, in accordance with UK consumer law.

If a custom item is faulty or not as described, we will:

  • Offer a repair or replacement in the first instance.

  • Consider a refund only if a repair or replacement is not feasible.

Products Requiring Installation

Any product that requires or includes third-party installation is non-refundable once installation has been scheduled or completed. This is due to the costs incurred for labour and site coordination.

Faulty installed items will be:

  • Repaired or replaced under the product warranty

  • Only considered for refund if repair or replacement is not possible

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • You must make a note at the time of delivery and send photographs to info@cotswoldcookingcompany.co.uk on the day of delivery.

  • Keep all original packaging.

  • We will cover return shipping for damaged, faulty, or incorrect items and ensure a prompt resolution.

Items that become damaged after use or installation are not eligible for return unless covered under warranty.

Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled before dispatch will receive a full refund.

  • Orders cancelled after dispatch will be treated under our 30-Day Return Policy and subject to return shipping costs.

  • To cancel an order, email or call us immediately to avoid unnecessary shipping charges.

Additional Return Policy Notes

  • If a specific product or supplier does not support our general returns policy, this will be stated clearly on the product page.

  • Pre-owned or used products are non-returnable.

  • Products purchased for temporary, one-time, or promotional use (e.g. for events, exhibitions, trade shows) are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

  • We only sell to customers intending to use products for their full service life.
